Description
The Outback Armour “Digressive” (or “DSV”) range of shock absorbers are designed and engineered in Australia to suit the harshest offroad conditions including: constant corrugations, rough mining roads, travelling across outback stations and just about anything else you can throw at them.
The digressive valving allows the vehicle to freely move over rough terrain, working with the springs to soak up the bumps and quickly takes control of body roll and pitching to maintain vehicle stability and driver control.
These shocks are specifically engineered and built to last anywhere in the remote Australian outback, across the plains of Africa or in the jungles of Papua New Guinea without failure from overheating or fatigue.
Features include:
- 65mm heavy wall twin-tube body
- 40mm high-flow digressive piston
- 18mm hard-chromed piston rod
- NBR foam cell constructioninternal top-out stop
- internal baffle systems
- integrated external heat sink
- high temperature multi-lip viton seals
- additional wiper/scraper seals to clear debris
- extreme duty fully-synthetic Fuchs oil
The fully-synthetic Fuchs oil used in the Digressive range of shock absorbers is formulated to withstand extreme operating temperatures for extended periods of time whilst retaining resistance to aeration, which are the two primary causes of shock fade and failure in harsh offroad conditions.
Supplied ready to install including rubber bushings.
The maximum recommended normal ride height for this shock, measured from the centre of the wheel to the guard is 640mm.
Digressive – Rear Shock
* 65mm twin tube – digressive valving.
